IMS,Inc.hasbeen awarded a Phase II
SBIR to developInGaNas advanced solar cells for the Departmentof Defense.
Award Date: June 2008
Project Title:High Efficiency InGaN Solar Cells
Summary:This project is a follow up on the successful completion of Phase I work (see news July 2007) to demonstrate the feasibility of InGaN materials as components for advanced high efficiency solar cells. In the course of this project, IMS will develop InGaN photovoltaic devices with high conversion efficiencies for DOD concentrator terrestrial and AM0 orbital power generation.
IMS has been awarded a DOE SBIR Phase I grant for the development, fabrication, and testing of Photo-Enhanced Hardened Flat Cold Cathodes Based on III Nitride.
IMS inc. Awarded NSF Phase I Award for: Metamaterials for Giant Dielectrics and Energy
The SBIR proposal seeks to develop polymer coated conducting nanoparticles that will be used as dielectrics composite in high energy storage capacitors.
